Our trip along Broadway with Ruthie Henshall on Saturday 29th September included a Jersey Boys medley sung by the choir - and we can proudly say that it was "Oh What A Night".
A stunning performance by Ruthie Henshall, backed by three brilliant musicians (Neil Bolton, Phil James and Harry Bent), with three soloists (Tasheka Coe, Andrew Foggin and Annie Hodkinson) and the Songsters on top form, lead by Musical Director, Margaret Jones.
Plentiful applause, and a standing ovation said it all.
Dudley Town Hall was a-rockin!
Thanks to all concerned, and thanks to the audience for your very kind comments (for example, see extracts from two emails below)
Dear Tom Bate,
Just returned from the concert. Absolutely brilliant, best Songsters GIG I’ve ever attended.
Saw that you’re doing a Remembrance Concert.
My wife and I hope to be there on 8 November.
Best wishes, Roger Noons
